Performance with Anna Barth
Grunewald, Berlin 2018
In a performance with Berlin artist Anna Barth, I found inspiration in the birch forests of Grunewald. Drawn to the soft, elastic texture of decaying birch trees—reminiscent of dried bodies—I began massaging them. The work explores this tactile and intimate connection with the natural world.

Talk to the Forest
Performance with Dagmar, Obora Hvezda, Prague 2018
The forests of Eastern Europe felt dark and mystical, filled with a cryptocrystalline light filtering through the canopy. To connect with this tangible, palpable feeling, I began to massage the trees, searching for their pulse and talking to them. This performance was an attempt to feel their connection to the earth and to the people who walk among them.

Alien on the Planet
Performance, Heima Artist Residency, Seyðisfjörður, 2018
At the Heima artist residency, I explored the feeling of being an “alien on the planet.” This performance captures a sense of being both a part of and separate from the landscape, observing the world with the curiosity of an outsider. It’s a meditation on presence and place, and the strangeness of belonging.

My time in Iceland felt like the most honest connection I had ever made with Mother Earth. Beyond the tree line, the land is a wilderness of moss, snow-covered mountains, and a light that is both dazzling and mysterious. In this remote place, I felt a strange liberation—memories and feelings I had forgotten or numbed myself to, locked away by the concrete blocks of city life, came back to me. The wilderness provided a space to feel and remember, allowing me to reach out to the stars, the sky, and to myself.
